The new Scarborough Beach Pool re-development and new foreshore refurbishment will form the centerpiece of this landmark area. The $21 million state of the art beach-side Sporting 50 metre pool and aquatic facility includes a 600sqm mezzanine level for food and beverage outlets and a separate heated recreation pool. Other areas include change rooms, administrative building, cafe/restaurant, kiosk and commercial amenities.

The main pool's lighting will include pole mounted area floodlights, surrounding areas are illuminated by decorative feature lighting to the pool building, 200 seat grandstand & extensive lighting has been designed for night-time use

The advanced control system automatically adjusts switch on and off times throughout the year as the sunrise and sunset times change, saving energy, increasing the lifespan of the system and creating maximum visual impact. Multiple event shows trigger automatically, with three different shows playing every week on weeknights,
