The $100m Midland Gate Shopping Centre redevelopment provided an additional 14,237sqm of retail space. The broad scope of the works, involving everything from core infrastructure through to the installation of high-quality mall lighting meant that there were as many as 42 of the TES team on-site during some stages of the project.

The $100m Midland Gate Shopping Centre redevelopment provided additional 14,237sqm of retail space.
The major expansion & upgrade works were anchored by a new Coles & Aldi Supermarkets, Four mini-major stores, new retail tenancies & food/ beverage outlets & a fresh food precinct overhaul of it’s Cale St casual dining strip. works also included full fit out works to Coles, Harris Scarfe and JB HiFi.
The works involved the expansion of the existing high voltage system to increase the supply by an additional 3.8mva by adding high voltage switch rooms and 4 x 1mva's dry transformers. Additional roof top car parking area for 458 vehicles and basement car park area for 241 vehicles was also constructed.
These works were carried out while maintaining access to the existing centre and tenancies. Timeline
The project commenced in July 2017, and was completed in stages to meet our client’s requirements. The full expansion was completed in late January 2019. The project was also a 4 Star GreenStar rated project.
