The installation of the principal electrics and the communications, security and fire alarm systems to the new, $40M headquarters for the Authority and the ‘000 emergency call’ centre, located in Cockburn.

Construction of a three storey office block was completed within a fifteen month timeline using modern pre-cast concrete with stone-faced panels. Despite minor revisions after late design changes the project was delivered on time and on budget.

FESA’s operations require the highest level of confidence in the integrity of its systems – the basic electricity supply has to be ‘bullet proof’. Expertise developed in other critical projects has been called upon by TES to ensure that FESA has an uninterruptible power supply, backed by generators and a sophisticated Dynalight control & wiring system.

As an emergency centre operating 24/7, the building has additional security features for staff working after hours. With 7500 square metres of offices, open plan space and other facilities, the building houses 350 staff.
