The Project

TES Electrical were engaged by the Main Contractor as the Sub Contractor of choice for this landmark WA Infrastructure project and were contracted to carry out all Electrical works including, mains and Sub Mains cabling, isolation Transformers, Lighting and Emergency Lighting monitoring systems, 240v Lighting Control systems, Power, Earthing Systems and Fire Detections and Emergency Warning Systems. Installation of all systems was in strict accordance with PTA Electrical Standards and Requirements.

Following the successful completion of the project TES Electrical was further engaged to undertake the Service and Maintenance of the entire Electrical Service systems.

Overview

The new Forrestfield-Airport link project is part of Perth's Transport Authority - public transport initiative to allow residents in the eastern suburbs of Perth to travel 20 minutes to the city centre.

With 3 new rail stations at Redcliffe, Perth Airport Central and Forrestfield as well as smaller sites (mainly within road reserve) for cross passages and emergency exits, each rail line is 8.5 kilometres long (8kms of each being in underground tunnels).

Timeline

The project commenced in January 2019 and was completed November 2022.
