To supply, install and commission all lighting, power, access control, security, Foxtel & MATV, lighting control, fire and communications system to a residential development consisting of two towers, one 7 floor (107 apartments) and one 27 floor (267 apartments).
The project started in November 2013 and is due for completion in December 2014. Given the difficulties of access and the delivery of both materials and personnel to the various building levels this is a particularly challenging deadline. TES managements systems and in-house team of project managers ensure that such challenges are met with aplomb and the minimum of stress.
TES has also recently been awarded Lot 101, which consists of 8 floors (126 apartments), due for completion in November 2015.
This twin tower apartment block overlooks the Swan River and the surrounding areas and is one of Perth’s most prestigious inner city developments, featuring luxury apartments and executive penthouses in the outstanding Queens Riverside precinct in East Perth.
TES completed both the infrastructure work for the development and the detailed work to the individual apartments. The 27 floor apartment block had been completed to level 14 when the firm initially contracted to perform the work ran into financial difficulties. Within two weeks TES had 20 people on site, taking over at a crucial stage and working with the more than 180 other tradespeople to complete the contract.
Working on high level sites can be challenging, with issues not normally found in other developments; dragging core infrastructure cabling vertically through an 80m riser and shuttling materials and personnel in limited lift facilities to meet deadlines is all in a day’s work.
