The Project

To supply and install lighting, power, access control, data and communications to the 3 storey, Dale Alcock Central Head Office.

Timeline

A long project, spanning almost 17 months, most of the work was carried out in the final stages of construction. All facets of the internal fitout were handled by TES, who contributed all the manpower and resources required for the electrical fitout.

Overview

This project started off as a general office fit-out. However, during construction, the client was so impressed with work to date that they engaged TES to carry out the complete internal office and display centre installation.

This included liaising with designers, workstation suppliers and the client’s IT department to ensure that the finished project met the high level of workmanship and attention to detail expected of one of Western Australia’s leading home builders. TES displayed another one of its strengths on this project, namely, the special interpersonal skills of the on-site supervisor who used his experience and understanding of a wide range of disciplines to act as liaison for the various project team members – including the architect, builder, interior designer, IT contractors and trade specialists – all of whom had specific requirements.

The Building itself has taken out many awards, including two Master Builders Association – Excellence in Construction Awards, together with awards for the internal fit-outs and internal display areas. Through our quality workmanship and reliability, Dale Alcock continues to endorse TES as one of Western Australia’s finest electrical contractors with ongoing contracts for electrical and maintenance services.
