HIA Building – Osborne Park

Project

TES was engaged by the commercial builders to provide a complete electrical service for the HIA’s new Western Australian office in Osborne Park.

The HIA [Housing Industry Association] is Australia’s largest residential building organisation. Members include builders, trade contractors, design professionals, kitchen and bathroom specialists, manufacturers and suppliers.

Overview

The project entailed the complete electrical installation including general lighting power, communications and access control. For TES, this project had to be the epitome of excellence as HIA and its head office represents Western Australia’s highest standards of building excellence and craftsmanship. Leading edge design and high quality materials were utilised in all facets of the project as HIA is one of the most recognised names in the building industry.

Timeline

A particularly challenging project, not only because of the short time frame (7 months), but also because the contract included both the infrastructure and fitout. The fitout required high quality light fittings, many of which had to be obtained from alternate sources due to industry-wide shortages.
